We are often forced to be resilient because of the circumstance or the fear of failure. Being resilient in those circumstances can be draining and have an impact on our bodies and health.
It is helpful to have some level of stress, but even more helpful and healthy to attach our resilience in a more positive direction. We can do this by seeing life’s situations as an engaging and interesting challenges, i.e. where we move towards what we want to have rather than what we do not want.

Now imagine having a positive resilient mindset. How you access it is up to you, you may draw on examples in your own life, or maybe from people who you admire that have that quality. Allow that imagined positive resilience to seep into all areas of your life, even in situations that have caused you to give up in the past, or made you feel inadequate or overwhelmed. Imagine resilience in situations such as financial difficulties, or unexpected illness, or unreasonable work timelines, or unexpected events such as floods, or family problems. Also imagine having it in situations where performance is critical, for example in the sports or business arena. A focused, motivated and committed mindset is needed in these arenas. A mindset that is focused on what is going well and what needs to happen to make it even better. What would that be like?
